Jesse L. McKenzie, 61, of Sanbornton passed away on Monday, September 2, 2013 at the Franklin Regional Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Concord on April 12, 1952, the son of Clarence W. and Ellen S. (Reed) McKenzie. He grew up in Salisbury and attended Merrimack Valley School District. He held numerous jobs throughout his lifetime. The most recent was at Rivco in Penacook, where he worked for 22 years. He enjoyed the job and the people.

Jesse’s hobby was woodworking. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.

He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his two sisters, Cassie of Sanbornton and Binnie Dufresne of Salisbury; two brothers, Bill McKenzie of New Hampshire, and Guy Rollins of Pennsylvania; two sons, Jesse Jr. and Ryan of Penacook; and a daughter, Stephie.

He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. There are no calling hours. There will be a family celebration of his life at a later date.
