Warner Fall Foliage Festival Planned

Volunteers still needed

Press release

Plans are nearly complete for the 66th annual Warner Fall Foliage Festival, scheduled for Columbus Day Weekend.

“This year’s festival will be outstanding. We’ll have crafters and a farmers market, rides, food, parades, road races, raffles, music, and entertainment for everyone … and more,” said festival president, Sean Bohman. “There are several competitions folks can participate in, and new this year is the Farm and Field Expo, with displays of outdoor equipment, canoes, kayaks, and farm store booths. It’s the same great festival with some new locations.”

Part of the festival has moved one block south. The midway, food tents, Farm and Field Expo, oxen and woodsmen competitions will be set up on Depot Street, just downhill from Main Street.

“We thank Warner Power and H.R. Clough for the use of their space. I couldn’t be happier. They’re good and generous members of the community,” Sean said.

The Warner Fall Foliage Festival begins on Friday, October 11, from 6 to 9 PM, when Depot Street comes alive with excitement. There will be numerous activities throughout downtown on Saturday, October 12, from 9 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday, October 13, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Parking will be at the west end of town, with free shuttle bus service to and from the festival.

Volunteers are needed to help with many phases of the festival, and those willing to donate their time are asked to sign up on WFFF.org or call 456-9775.

“Proceeds from the festival go back into the community for worthy projects and to support local groups,” Sean said. “Our flyers are out, and I hope people will look for them. Everything is listed there.”

Sign-up forms for the competitions and more information about the Warner Fall Foliage Festival can also be found on WFFF.org.
