Cecile G. Morin, 88, a lifelong resident of Sanford, Maine, died on September 29, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born in Sanford on November 8, 1924, the daughter of Augur and Anastasia (Bougie) Fournier and attended school in Sanford.

Among surviving family members are her daughter, Emily Kennedy and husband Tom, of Andover.

Relatives and friends called on October 6 at the Lafrance-Lambert and Black Funeral Home in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on October 7 at the Holy Family Church of St. Therèse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford, with burial in the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale, Maine.
