Give your family and friends a holiday gift purchased from local farms and artisans at the 23rd annual Danbury Grange Craft Fair on Saturday, December 7.
Held in the Danbury Grange Hall across from the firehouse in Danbury, the December fair is merged with the monthly Winter Market.
Doors open at 9 am with a hot breakfast of sausage and egg on a muffin and piping hot coffee. Lunch is served from 11 am to closing.
This year’s fair and market boast over 20 vendors on two floors of the historic Grange Hall. All products are locally produced.
Danbury children’s book author Mary Lyn Ray will be on hand to sign her books, which she will have on sale that day.
Farm vendors include Autumn Harvest, Cutting Farm, Huntoon Farm, Huckins Farm, Haunting Whisper Vineyards, and Newfound Farm and Wool Works.
Handcrafted items may be purchased from The Purple Ant, Hummingbird Creations, Rocky Meadow Crafts, Charlotte, McIver, Lorraine Wason, Jessie Greenhaigh, Cheryl Sullivan, Wendy Thibodeau, Sally Peters, Louise Huntoon, Jessica Fligg, and Fred Robinson.
Blazing Star Grange #71 supports the idea that buying locally is environmentally responsible and fiscally sustainable. Your patronage of the monthly markets will keep the local economy healthy.
The Winter Markets are held on the first Saturday of every month through May from 9 AM to 1 PM in the Grange Hall in central Danbury. The next market is on Saturday, January 4. For more information, visit DanburyGrange.org.
