The Andover Service Club (ASC) met on November 13 at the Masonic Hall in Potter Place. The agenda included business reports and sign-ups for the Thanksgiving Pie Sale and the Christmas luncheon, with refreshments following the special program for the month.

Alison Buckwell was the guest speaker. Her topic for the meeting was Heirlooms and Collectibles: Exploring the Options. Members learned how to buy or sell collectibles and antiques.

The annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale was held on November 26 and 27 at Circle K in Potter Place. About 70 homemade pies were sold at $9 each, with the proceeds helping to fund the ASC Merit Scholarship Program.

Raffle tickets were sold as well. Two baskets of “Gifts Galore,” valued at more than $400, will be awarded to the owner of the winning ticket on December 11. The drawing will be held at the ASC Christmas luncheon at Lake Sunapee Country Club.
