The State General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, in the Andover Elementary/Middle School gym. The polling hours will be from 8 AM to 7 PM. We encourage you to get out and vote.

Saturday, October 27, is the last day to register to vote at the Town Office. Our hours that day will be from 9 to 11 AM. No additions or corrections can be made to the checklist after this date until Election Day.

Tax Bills

Tax season is also upon us. We will be receiving the tax rate from the state Department of Revenue Administration toward the end of October and will have the bills printed and in the mail soon after.

If you are interested, after you’ve paid this year’s tax bill you can make advance payments any time during the year toward next year’s tax bill. There is no minimum amount required, nor any monthly arrangement to commit to. However much you pay, whenever you pay it, it will simply be credited against next year’s tax bill.

Online Billing

Our office is preparing to change our online billing and payment process to Invoice Cloud. They are a new computer-based company that is working with Avitar to provide us with the latest in online billing and payments. Avitar provides our software for Motor Vehicle, Tax Collecting, and Assessing.

With our new affiliation with Invoice Cloud, we will soon be able to send electronic bills for both tax bills and motor vehicle renewals. I hope that many of you will find this a convenient way to receive your bills.
