Savage, President and CEO of Franklin Savings Bank, and Ron Magoon, Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, recently announced the promotion of two officers and the appointment of a third. These designations recognize the importance of highly qualified professionals to fulfill the Bank’s mission of providing useful financial services to businesses, communities, and families in the Bank’s market areas by employees who are highly-motivated, customer-driven, and effective.

Promotions included two employees. Martha K. Lefebvre became Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. Lefebvre earned her position that stems from a well-rounded financial services background. She began as Franklin Savings Bank’s first branch manager at the 933 Central Street office in Franklin. Outside of her profession, Lefebvre enjoys participating in bank activities and events, as well as spending time with her three daughters and three granddaughters.

Also promoted was Jonathan J. Winters to Assistant Vice President, Risk Management, Bank Secrecy Act, Security and Information Security Officer. Winters formerly held the position of Senior Security Specialist, which he held since September of 2011. In addition to his professional career, he also plays an active role in the community coaching the Franklin High School Girls Varsity Basketball team and dedicating time to the annual Franklin Savings Bank Charity Softball Tournament.

In addition to the officer promotions, Franklin Savings Bank welcomed Debra Davis Thum to the position of Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Delivering commercial lending expertise based out of the Bank’s Bedford Lending Office on South River Road, Davis Thum comes to FSB with over 30 years of experience in Commercial Lending and compliments current commercial lender Andre Tremblay’s Commercial Real Estate Mortgage expertise. In addition to her dedication as a Commercial Loan Officer, Davis Thum also plays a very active role in the community. She is an Executive Board of Director and Treasurer at the Moore Center and serves as the Finance Committee Chair. For over seven years, Davis Thum has been the Auditor for the Bow Garden Club and most recently began serving as a Finance Council Member of the Christ the King Parish.
