Come celebrate reading! The Andover Elementary/Middle School Spring Book Fair will be held on Monday, April 7 through Friday, April 11. The book fair is a wonderful way to help children get excited about reading by giving them the opportunity to choose reading materials they are interested in that they can use to create or add to their own home library. The book fair will be open during school hours for students to browse or purchase books.

In addition, the Grand Cafe is a special day when grandparents or any family friends can come to the Book Fair with their grandchild and enjoy looking at books together and helping to add to their own home libraries while having complimentary coffee and danish. The Grand Cafe will be held on Tuesday, April 8 from 8:30 AM to noon.

Family Night will be held on Thursday, April 10 from 3 to 6:15 PM to coincide with AE/MS Poetry Night, so families can spend a fun evening at the school.

The AE/MS online Book Fair shopping site will be open from Wednesday, April 2 through Tuesday, April 22. This is a wonderful way parents (or grandparents, or anyone else looking for a special gift) can shop for books just right for their child’s reading level and interests. Children may create their own Wish List and post it on the site to make shopping for relatives easy!

The Web site has an expanded selection of books for all ages, from preschool to adult, and shipping is free to AE/MS for pick up. All purchases at the Book Fair or online will benefit our school, helping us earn money to build the collection in our library. To visit the online Book Fair, go to Scholastic.com/Fair and click on the Find a Fair tab to locate our fair.

We hope to see you at the fair! If you have any questions, you may call Kristine Lane at 735-5494.
