Using Town Equipment Saves About $5,000 on Monticello Drive

On July 14, work was underway to resurface Monticello Drive. The only equipment that the Town had to hire was the huge surface grinder on the left -- all the other equipment on the job, including the grader and the truck fitted with a water tank and spray arms for keeping the dust down, is owned by the Town. The Town's highway department employees, Jim Reed (center) and Keith Blinn (driving the Town truck) worked on the project as well. Photo: Charlie Darling
