Pemigewasset Choral Society Presents “Hope is Born”

43rd season starts on September 12

Press release

This fall season the Pemigewasset Choral Society’s concert is entitled “Hope Is Born.” We can’t live without hope. Hope whispers encouragement to move forward and realize our dreams.

Join us in celebration of the unique hope that was born more than 2,000 years ago, including music from Praetorius, a 1947 spiritual, Ola Gjeilo, and featuring Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols.

The Pemi Choral Society starts its 43rd season on Monday, September 12. It has members from throughout New Hampshire, from as far south as Nashua and as far north as North Woodstock, including  Donovan Freeman and Mary Lloyd-Evans of Andover.

Rehearsals take place at the Silver Center for the Arts at Plymouth State University on Mondays from 7 to 9 PM. Concerts are held in Guilford, Franklin, and Plymouth.
