On January 24, AE/MS seventh graders went on an exciting trip to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

“It was a great experience and very informational,” says Brynne Mackechnie. The seventh grade looked at art from Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The students were sorted into five groups and made their way through the artistic wonders of the Ancient art. Artwork ranging from jewelry, to games, through vessels and statues.

The seventh grade students owe a big thank you to our bus driver for getting us to and from Boston safely. To our art teacher, Ms. Minnehan, and our Social Studies teacher, Mr. Tucker, for arranging the trip.

Plus,we would like to thank Ms. Keezer, Mr. Tyler, and Mrs. Milligan for coming along and being amazing group leaders.

“Overall, I thought it was awesome,” states Ms. Keezer. “The students really enjoyed it and we all look forward to see where our teachers take us next.”
