The Little Nature Museum Opens for Season

Open on Fridays and Saturdays

Press Release

The Little Nature Museum in Warner is now open for the season. This hands-on family museum is the perfect place to learn about the many gifts of Mother Nature. Not only will visitors enjoy viewing the displays, they may handle many of the artifacts and test their knowledge about them. Numerous activities will entertain children while they learn, and for every four activities they try, they’ll take home a nature prize. Those who walk along the museum nature trail will see native plants, trees and wildlife.

Anyone may sign up for one or more of the Saturday programs, such as: Get Outside: Be Aware, Be Safe; and Summer Wild Edibles and Becoming a Woods Ninja. These programs are all led by Rudy Bourget, an outdoor survival expert.

The museum is now one of over 2,000 Blue Star Museums across the country, which means active military personnel and their families may enjoy free admission.

Sharing the same campus with the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum, The Little Nature Museum is located just off Kearsarge Mountain Road in Warner and is open Friday through Sunday and on holidays. More information about this museum, its hours, and programs may be found on their Web site at: littlenaturemuseum.org.
