“Paint & Sip” Returns to the Andover Hub

Friday, October 26th

Press Release
At a July 13 “Paint & Sip,” local participants show off their interpretations of a Georgia O’Keeffe painting, accompanied by teacher and artist Molly Leith, far right.

Following up on two highly successful and fun “Paint & Sip” events held at The Andover Hub earlier this year, another is planned for Friday, October 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

“Paint & Sip” classes have become popular as a way to unwind and have fun on a Friday night while also exploring one’s creativity.   At The Hub, folks are invited to relax, have a glass of wine or soft drinks and snacks and access their creative side under the guiding eye of local artist Molly Leith.  She’ll lead participants through the experience of painting their own version of a classic work of art; earlier events have used Georgia O’Keeffe and Vincent Van Gogh paintings as inspiration.

The event is designed to be a sociable and light-hearted evening as each person produces some ‘fun art’ — and learns a bit in the process.  The evening will be limited to ten participants, and advance registration is necessary, on a first come, first served basis. The fee, which includes wine, soda, snacks and art supplies, is $25 per person.  To register, send an email to AndoverCommunitySpace@nullgmail.com. For those who would like to try”Paint & Sip” but can’t make this one, the next will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019.
