Two local student-athletes earned special honors for Proctor Academy this fall. The Captain of the cross-country team for two years, Emi Morison was top runner for 2013. The daughter of Buz Morison and Margie Lim-Morison of Main Street, Andover, Emi is a high honors student and has been a strong runner for all four years. In the words of coach Ross Young, “Emi was our top runner, top leader and cheerleader…all in one!”

The son of Keith and Maryn Barrett of Monticello Drive, Sam Barrett was named recipient of Proctor football’s most prestigious prize, the Artie Pratt ‘56 Teammate Award. A three-year varsity letterman and honor roll student, Sam was quarterback of the undefeated 2012 team, and Captain and quarterback of this year’s squad, which enjoyed a record of six wins and two losses. Coach Ben Rulli comments, “Sam has led the Hornet football program with character, integrity and strength. Sam is quiet, but leads by example, with hard work in practice and ferocious play on game days.”

Congratulations to Emi Morison and Sam Barrett!
