Irene Jewett hasn’t missed a chicken barbeque at the East Andover Fire Station yet! She has attended every one of the 33 barbecues that the East Andover/Andover Fire Department has held! This year was her 95th birthday, and she decided she was celebrating in style, so she couldn’t miss the Andover Fire Department Chicken Barbecue. Irene was surprised when the fire department sang “Happy Birthday” and the crowd joined in! The Andover Fire Department feels very honored that they have such a wonderful supporter; it only seemed right that the birthday girl have her picture taken with the Andover Fire Department team.
