Fall is here! Where did the summer go? There are ten months to go until the next Andover Fourth of July Celebration! The committee is already at work lining up bands and vendors as well as kid’s games and some new and exciting possibilities.

Thank you to all who participated selling food and wares and running games for kids on the Green. We appreciate your community spirit in helping us make this a memorable, annual celebration. This event draws crowds of people here to our community enabling our many nonprofit organizations to raise much needed funds. The dollars paid to the committee help us to pay the costs of the fireworks, marching bands, etc. Our total expenses this year exceeded $17,000!

The committee welcomes new members. It is always good to have new ideas. Even if you don’t want to join as a member, you are welcome to attend any meeting to share your ideas with us. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Andover Fire Station at 7 PM. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 4th at 7 PM. Come join us!
