Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry Welcomes New Director

New Pantry Director, Trisha Wildes.

Twin Rivers Interfaith Food Pantry is excited to introduce our new Pantry Director, Trisha Wildes.  Trisha is a resident of Franklin and has been serving as a volunteer courier, picking up our NH Food Bank Fresh Rescue donations at Hannaford and BJ’s several days a week, for the past two years.  Stop in and meet her!

**UPDATE ON THE PANTRY’S SNOW STORM POLICY*** When schools close due to poor weather conditions, the Pantry WILL REMAIN OPEN to service our neighbors. Please understand that we may be short-handed with volunteers, but we will do our best to make visits efficient and friendly!  Should there be a storm so serious that the Governor declares a state of emergency, we will post our closing on the WMUR Closings List.

As part of our relocation last August, we converted to what is called a “Choice Pantry” method of food distribution.   Instead of waiting at the counter for a box to be filled, our neighbors now use shopping carts and gather items themselves.  Folks can directly view the choices, read labels, and select the items they know their families will use.  Pantry hours at our new location in the lower level of 2 Central Street (across from Benson Auto) continue to be Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9-11am, and Wednesday evenings, 5-7pm.  We serve the communities of   Andover, Danbury, Salisbury, Hill, Tilton, Northfield, Sanbornton, and Franklin.  Please contact us if you need assistance with food to see if we can help.

We always welcome donations of non-perishable food items (some always needed items include oatmeal, granola bars, 100% juice, and dried beans), financial support, and volunteer time!  In addition, please keep us in mind for donating your plastic shopping bags and aluminum beverage cans!  Please call Trisha at 934-2662 with questions or to get more information.
