Thank You, Andover Service Club Volunteers!

By Mary Ofenloch, President, Andover Service Club

For a service organization such as the Andover Service Club (ASC) to be successful in fulfilling its mission, dedicated volunteers are a necessity. For 54 years, ASC has been blessed with hard-working members who are willing to be of service to their community. Many of the ladies have been faithful volunteer workers for 20 years or more.

The mission of ASC is to be of service to the people of the community and the state and to broaden and strengthen the social and intellectual life of the members. ASC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that financially supports 14 local and wider community organizations and awards merit scholarships to high school seniors and continuing education college students.

As some members pass away, move away, or become too ill to participate as a volunteer, ASC is looking for new members to carry on this necessary work. We welcome ladies of any age who wish to be of service to speak with a present member, or to contact President Mary Ofenloch at MaryO.ASClub@nulllive.com for more information.

I wish to personally thank the Executive Board, the many volunteer members, and the members of the community who have supported ASC throughout the years.
