In partnership with Genesis and Peabody Home, we are presenting a free program of information and education for families and caregivers of people with Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. 

The event will feature both a presentation of what Dementia is, by certified dementia educator Cheryl Barnes of Peabody Home, as well as an informal information session following the presentation where attendees can ask follow up questions, see what type of help is available in the community, and learn about the types of care Franklin VNA & Hospice and Mt. Ridge Center can offer. 

So many caregivers become isolated, and feel they need to go it alone, but caring for those with dementia becomes a job that, by its nature, cannot be done by just one person.
