Filling the shoes of a much-loved, longtime staff member can be a daunting task. But by all accounts Ashley Lester, the new Administrative Assistant taking the place of Gail Parenteau at AE/MS, is up to the task. Hailing from Holderness, Ashley, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, loves working with people of all ages.

At the time this position became available, she was in the market for a new challenge and immediately applied. According to Ashley, “working in a school introduces such a diverse work environment.” She considers herself to be a “people person,” which definitely makes her well-suited to a position like this where she will be the face of AE/MS and the first person visitors see when entering the building. Ashley said she is “honored” to be in this role.

The new Administrative Assistant knows she is taking on this big responsibility during a time of uncertainty, with some things still up in the air due to the ongoing COVID crisis. Notwithstanding, she is looking forward to getting to know everyone and “helping to provide positivity and safety within our community … safety always remains the utmost priority.”

On a personal note, outside of her work life, Ashley enjoys hiking and scuba diving.
