On Saturday morning, September 11, the American Legion Crosby-Gilbert Post 101 of Andover held a brief ceremony on the grounds of AE/MS to honor the memory of those who lost their lives or were injured in the airplane terrorist attacks against the United States on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington DC, and an airplane crash near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Among those who lost their lives were 25 from New Hampshire, one of whom was from Wilmot. Citizens of the United States should “Never Forget” the suicide terrorist attacks that took place on that date. Caption: Lloyd Perreault. Photo: Nicole Southworth.
