Dear AEMS Family,

Tonight is Poetry Night! Participants should be here by 6:15. The names of the finalists will be on reserved seats in the first few rows. It is a semi-formal evening in which we insist on a quiet and respectful audience. The evening is a favorite as students skillfully recite their poetry. Refreshments are available following the awards.

Next Thursday night, April 17th, AEMS will be rocking to the sounds of the K-4 Spring Concert. The fun starts at 6:30.

Next time you are in the building please visit the Lost and Found located off the lobby. We have an abundance of winter gear. We are cleaning it out during April vacation.

Please settle your lunch account before April vacation. If you have questions regarding your bill, please call Gail Parenteau. Thank you!

SHARE Day information is being sent home tomorrow via the students for grades 3-8. We have many new workshops this year as well as the traditional favorites. It is important to get forms back quickly as the popular workshops fill up fast. We will begin entering students into workshops on Monday morning. 1st and 2nd SHARE Day information will be sent home at a later date. Volunteers are always needed to help on May 16th.

April vacation is the 21st -25th. Attached is an updated list of important events.

Spread the word – Kindergarten Registration is May 14th.

Next week will be our last week to walk in the gym before school starts. After vacation students will be outside after arrival in the morning. K-3rd is on one side of the building and 4th-8th is on the other.

Get those bikes out and greased. Dust off those helmets. Plan to join us for Bike to School Day on May 7th! This fun event gets bigger every year.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact me or stop in.

Sincerely,

Jane Slayton
