Bluegrass Band Makes Its Own Stage Curtain

Fundraiser for Grange a big success

By Mary Fanelli, Blazing Star Grange
The Cardigan Mountain Tradition bluegrass band played to a full house on April 19 at the Blazing Star Grange Hall in a benefit concert to raise funds for the historical stage scenery restoration. That evening, the group presented a curtain of their own making to show their support for the project. The band has been playing at the Grange Hall in Danbury for well over 30 years. In this photo, the band surrounds state representatives David Karrick and Mario Ratzki (center). Photo and caption: Mary Fanelli
