The Andover Congregational Church (ACC) will be having a Vacation Bible School at the church during the week of August 11 through 15 from 9 AM to noon. Call Bonnie Wesley at 735-5486 for further information and to register.

The ACC will be holding its Sunday, August 17, service at Highland Lake Beach followed by a picnic, and we invite all of you to join us. You may bring a dish to share and a chair,  though neither is necessary to attend. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages will be provided. So please join us at 9:30 AM under the tent at the beach on the 17th.

The church will once again be sponsoring a Flea Mart and Bake Sale on Saturday, August 30, on the Andover Village Green. This draws a huge crowd, with about 25 or 30 set-ups to visit. Refreshments will also be for sale. Again, call Bonnie Wesley to reserve a spot or for further information.

Bell Cradle Replaced

We have had to have the bell cradle in the church steeple replaced due to inclement weather over the years rotting the boards. This project is nearing completion. We thank all who helped in any way, but a huge “Thank you!” to John and Joyce Bourdon who spearheaded the project and did the majority of the work!

Alpha and Beta

In the fall, we will be starting up Bible Studies and the ever popular Alpha program, as well as a Beta program. We will also resume our singing at nursing homes. We have intercessory prayer time at the church from 7 to 8 PM on Saturday nights.

We have lots going on, and would be happy to share God’s word and God’s love with you. So join us any Sunday at 9:30 AM.
