Press release

The Wilmot Historical Society’s (WHS) history room in the Wilmot Town Offices building next to the Wilmot Village Green will be open to visitors on Saturday mornings from 9 AM to noon, while the Wilmot Farmers Market is in session.

Docents will be on hand to point out rotating displays on the history of the First Congregational Church in Wilmot, past Old Home Days, the Wilmot Grange, and the Wilmot bicentennial celebrations, among other topics of interest.

The popular Curiosity Shop, the fundraising arm of the WHS, offers collectibles, curiosities, and more for sale at its WFM booth under the maple tree next to the Town Offices. Bring your visiting family and company to enjoy this quaint New England tradition on Saturday mornings through September.

There is even a weekly bonus Crafter’s Fair set up at the WCA Red Barn from 9 AM to 2 PM that offers kids’ art activities in addition to beautifully crafted items including quilts, homemade greeting cards, and more.
