I support Mario Ratzki and David Karrick for State Representatives. Both aim to serve us in Andover. They have worked hard, and they have kept us informed, as we knew from their reports in the Beacon. Both have worked productively with other representatives, regardless of party affiliation, for New Hampshire.

In addition, I am backing Andy Hosmer for the New Hampshire Senate because, in his first term in office, he demonstrated his effectiveness in bipartisan budget negotiations to restore funding for higher education. Strong public support for the New Hampshire system results in a high quality of instruction, particularly in the sciences (the engine that drives modern progress and economic development) and heads off increases in tuition and fees to the point that only the most wealthy can attend.

I want an academically strong and affordable state system for students this year and for our granddaughter when she is ready for college in 2024. I support Andy Hosmer, advocate for affordable higher education in the Granite State.
