On the Ballot: November 4, 2014

The Beacon asked every candidate on the Andover ballot to submit 250 words and a picture.

By Mary Anne Broshek, Beacon volunteer

Every election year, The Andover Beacon strives to provide Andover residents with information that lets them know where candidates stand on issues that affect them. We have reached out to all candidates on the ballot and asked for a 250-word statement that answers the following questions:

For incumbents: What are three things that you accomplished in the past two years that you are most proud of (and/or three “hot topic” opinions) and what are three things you hope to accomplish in the next two years?

For challengers: What are your opinions on three “hot topics” from the past two years, and what are the three most important things you hope to accomplish in the next two years?

We asked the candidates to leave out negative comments about their opponents and opposing parties. While we made multiple attempts whenever we had contact information, we are still missing a few, but the response has been good. Here is what the candidates have to say.
