Karen Niemyer of Andover, left, won the Strawberry Festival Logo Contest. Jean Cronin Connolly, chair of the Center for the Arts, presented Karen with a check for $100. Out of 50 entries, the logo by Karen, an assistant teacher at Kearsarge Regional Middle School in Sutton, was the winning design. The Strawberry Festival will take place on June 27 in New London; plans are underway to create a day-long event for all ages.
