The Fourth Annual New London Strawberry Festival and Summer Arts on the Green will be held on June 27 on the New London Town Green. There will be activities for the children, including face painting and crafts. And, of course, Strawberry Shortcake for all! The Festival will continue on Sunday, June 28 at the Historical Society with wagon rides and homemade ice cream!

The Center for the Arts ~ Lake Sunapee Region will host a juried art show on June 27 ‘On the Green’ from 10 to 4 PM. Thirty artists from throughout New England will display their talents for the community and summer visitors! This year’s event has drawn a wide range of talent, as well as a variety of mediums in the expressive arts. They include pastels, oil painting, acrylic, photography, jewelry, pottery, silk scarfs, print making, wood crafts, folk art, water colors, and pencil!

The thirty juried artists include the following: Eileen Belanger, Anne Boisvert, Chris Bower, Jean Colquhoun, Elizabeth Craumer, Bill Crone, Linda Dessaint, Sheri Dowsett, Tina Gagnon, Kenneth Harvey, James Lambert, Amiee LaRue, Luci Lesmerises, Diane MacPherson, Lynn McDermott, Margaret Miller, Richard Morin, Ginny Nickerson, Marie Panciocco, Steve Previte, Don Reed, Gail Rousseau, Barbara Scott, Jo Shields, Tatiana Yanovskaya-Sink, Jennifer Smith, Marianne Stillwagon, Dave Tibbetts, Mimi Wiggin, Ruth Chase, and Bernard Joly.
