On Saturday, July 11, a Transfer Station employee will be checking for a valid Andover Transfer Station and Beach Parking Permit sticker on every vehicle that comes to use the Transfer Station. If you don’t have a valid sticker on your vehicle, you’ll be able to buy one then and there and then use the Transfer Station.

If you want to get a sticker ahead of time, see the Town Clerk in the Town Hall. Her office is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM; on Tuesday from 1:30 to 6:30 PM; and on the last Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 AM (except for long holiday weekends).

Fourth of July Hours

If the weather is good on Saturday, July 4, the Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday (due to the big Fourth of July celebration in town) and open on Sunday, July 5 instead.

If the weather is bad on the Fourth and the big celebration is postponed to July 5, then the Transfer Station will be open as usual on Saturday.
