Always willing to lend a hand

People - Deaths - 150620 AdamsAdrienne L. Adams, 82, passed away on June 20, 2015 at the Clough Center in New London with her family by her side. She was born in Franklin, the daughter of Almedos and Sabina (Yacopucci) Rousseau.

Adrienne graduated from Franklin High School in 1950. She married her husband, Bryant Harrison Adams, on May 1, 1952.

East Andover was home, where she was a loving, caring, and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. Over the years, she was a Cub Scout den mother, Andover Elementary School secretary, substitute librarian, as well as always willing to lend a hand in support of the community.

She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, reading, bird and nature watching, band concerts on The Commons, and Sunday drives with Bryant. Her favorite sports teams were the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

Family members include her sons Timothy Adams of East Andover, Thomas Adams and wife Brenda of East Andover, and Todd Adams and wife Candi of East Andover; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Bigelow and wife Nancy of Port Orange, Florida; and nieces and nephews.

Adrienne was predeceased by her husband Bryant, who died on December 28, 2013, and her son Anthony, who died in February 1958.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, at 10 AM at Lakeside Cemetery, East Andover.
