Crafts and Camraderie returns on November 9

By Janet Moore, Library trustee

At the Andover Library, starting on October 21, Dee Ganley and her dog, Flip, host Read to Flip. You can sign up ahead of time for a 15-minute slot between 6:30 and 7:30 PM on Wednesdays. Come share some furry words with the amazing Flip.

Crafts and Camraderie will meet again on Monday, November 9, at 7 PM. Remember, it’s just for grown-ups and always a surprise.

Over in East Andover at the Bachelder Library, Gail Fitzpatrick is now offering an Under 3 Story and Activity time. Parents and toddlers gather at 3:30 PM on Thursday afternoons for a little reading, rocking, and rolling.

On an entirely different note, University of New Hampshire Law Professor John Greabe will return to discuss the current goings-on in the United States Supreme Court. His presentation will take place on Tuesday, November 17 at 7 PM at the Bachelder Library.

The latest and greatest new books at our libraries include: Kinsey Milhone’s latest case in Sue Grafton’s X; Brian Selznick’s marvelous new story, The Marvels, a circus delight; and The Secret Chord, Geraldine Brooks’ version of the story of King David.

See you at the libraries!
