Proctor’s Chris Agyemang ‘16 (Billerica, Massachusetts) has been selected to play in the Semper Fidelis Senior Bowl as a representative of the East Region. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl began five years ago as a way to honor outstanding high school football players from around the country who demonstrate values held by the United States Marine Corp. The players selected to represent the eastern and western halves of the country will be chosen not only because they are among the most talented players in the nation, but also because they bring something more to the game. This year’s Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl will be played in California on January 3, 2016 at 6 PM EST and will air on Fox Sports 1.

Agyemang ‘16 is a deserving recipient for both his play on the field as a fierce linebacker, team captain, and tight end. This season, Agyemang had 81 tackles in 147 receiving yards in eight games this fall, leading the Hornets to a 6-2 record. Off the field, Agyemang has been a leader in his dorm and a tremendous example to younger students as a student athlete who values his performance in the classroom as much as he does on the football field. Agyemang has not yet decided on where he will attend college, but intends to play football at the Division 1 level.

Congratulations to Chris Agyemang ’16 on this tremendous honor, and thank you to the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl for visiting campus and sharing this honor with the Proctor community on the U.S. Marine Corps’ 240 birthday.
