American Legion Wants to Hear of Problems with VA

Compiling a list of experiences with VA

Press release

There have been many stories nationally of the failings of the Veterans Administration (VA) for health care and support for veterans. There are some reports of long waiting periods for medical appointments, loss of paperwork, and delay in action on disability applications and other business.

Andover’s American Legion Crosby-Gilbert Post 101 is concerned with whether there are veterans in the Andover area having similar problems with the Veterans Administration, and we are compiling a list of experiences that local veterans have had in attempts to claim their benefits.

If you have had or are having a problem with the VA, make a note of it and send it to us or call Post 101 members Bill Leber at 735-5144 or Jim Reed at 402 219-3466.
