She worked as a child care provider in her home for several years and for the hot lunch program at Andover Elementary/Middle School, leaving to start her own cleaning business serving several homeowners in the local area before she retired.

She was an accomplished horsewoman from the age of 11, at one time owned five horses with her father, and rode many times on her Palomino “Taffy Candy” in the Andover Fourth of July parade. Her love of animals was evident by her horses, many cats and dogs over the years, and a great fondness for her “grand-dogs.”

Wendy was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Shelburne Niles Harding. She is survived by a daughter, Shayne M. Gray and her husband Jonathan of Franklin; a son, Nathanael W. Loveless of Derry; a sister, Sandra N. Harding and nephew Courtney J. Harding-Smith, both of Derry; and several cousins. She also leaves her soul mate and significant other, David Reep, with whom she lived.

A graveside memorial and burial in the Harding plot at Proctor Cemetery in Andover will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Andover EMS, PO Box 61, Andover NH 03216.
