Warner author Larry Sullivan displays a Thomas Nast cartoon of Horace Greeley during an April 20 presentation in Andover on Mount Kearsarge, the subject of Larry's recent book. During his research on the book, Larry learned that Greeley, editor of the New York Tribune, had climbed Mount Kearsarge during his presidential campaign of 1872. Larry's talk to an audience of 40 was co-sponsored by the Andover Historical Society and the Andover Institute. His 326-page book, "Mount Kearsarge: History, Stories, Legends and Folktales," is the result of a decade of research and a current bestseller at local bookstores. Photo and caption: Larry Chase
