A Learning Day for Teachers

This year, the Andover School Board planned a day off for the students on September 13, Primary Election Day, so voting could be held in the AE/MS gym. Teachers gathered on election day for workshops, with many of the math teachers learning more about effectively using "math centers" to deliver and support math skills. Deana Crucitti and Kristy LaRoche use this strategy often with their students and were pleased to share their experience with others. Math centers are an important component of the new math program, enVisions 2.0.
