State Representative District 25, Democrat, David Karrick

opinion-op-ed-at-the-polls-karrickI’m David Karrick. I’m running for my third term in the New Hampshire legislature. I’m proud to have represented Andover, Danbury, Salisbury, Warner, and Webster in the New Hampshire legislature since you first elected me in 2012. I have served on the Ways and Means Committee, where we review all bills that could provide revenues for our state.

Some of the bills I am proud to have backed and voted for in the last session were: funding for full-day kindergarten, for a statewide minimum wage, universal high-speed Internet access, continuing Medicaid Enhancement, and funding to fight the heroin and opioid crisis. I voted against repealing licensing for concealed carry of weapons and against de-funding Planned Parenthood.

My priorities for my next term include access to quality education from early childhood through college, training for today’s high tech jobs, affordable housing, clean and efficient energy, conservation of our beautiful environment, and stopping the downshifting of expenses by the state to our towns and schools.

I’ve lived in Warner for 20 years and have been chosen to serve my community in many ways, including on Warner’s Budget Committee and six years as Selectman.

I respectfully ask for your vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, and ElectDavidKarrick.weebly.com. You can contact me at ElectDavidKarrick@nullgmail.com or 456-2772.
