Andover Public Libraries Presents Outside Looking In

Thursday, March 30 at 7 PM

Press release

“Outside Looking In” is the focus of an evening of song, story-telling, and poetry presented by the Andover Public Libraries on Thursday, March 30, beginning at 7 PM. The performance will be held at the Highland Lake Grange Hall in East Andover, at the intersection of Route 11 and Chase Hill Road.

Maine based blind songwriter, guitarist, and poet Mike Rogers reflects scenes and characters from his life, his years in the music business, as well as teaching high school, and his travels around New England and coast to coast, in his music and stories. His show is laced with wry humor and portraits of people “outside the circle,” sometimes edgy, sometimes gentle, always with an emphasis on understanding and acceptance.

Mike accompanies himself on guitar and harmonica. He will be joined by his wife, Beverly, adding vocal harmony and by Dan MacLellan on bass and vocal back-up. The program is free of charge. For more information, contact the William Bachelder Library in East Andover at 735-5076.
