LRG Healthcare Offers Caring Student Intern Program for Teens

LRGHealthcare is proud to once again offer local teens the popular Caring Student Interns (CSI) Program. CSI if offered to teens between the ages of 15 and 18 that have an interest in learning about careers in healthcare. Participants will learn medical skills such as taking blood pressure and respirations, first aid, and more.

Students will also be introduced to various departments throughout the hospital that provide medical services. Upon completion of the CSI program, students will have the opportunity to continue their experience through volunteering.

This year LRGHealthcare will offer two sessions of the CSI program. Students will have the choice between Week One: July 13 and 14 or Week Two: August 3 and August 4. Both sessions will be held at Lakes Region General Hospital. CSI is open to students from all local school districts. Space is limited.
