Conservative Think-tanks

Dear Editor:
The American people need to be made aware of the power and influence of right-wing-conservative-libertarian-Republican “think-tanks”/”policy institutes.”  Two examples would be “Americans for Prosperity” (which alone has 2.3 million members) and “The Heritage Foundation.” Conservative think-tanks are organizations that are primarily created and funded by large corporations, billionaires, and multi-millionaires whose purpose is to try to convince the American people  to agree with their political agenda, philosophy, and ideology.  There are many times more Conservative ones than Liberal ones.  They hire very intelligent and well-paid thinkers and researchers who produce books and articles which are provided to Republican members of Congress, the conservative news media including political news programs, talk show hosts, anchors, and commentators, as well as to the American public.  Most of these thinking and research pieces are NOT objective or scientific.  They are very stealthy, manipulative, sneaky, biased, seductive, deceptive, and misleading.  They push a right-wing-conservative viewpoint.  They are basically right-wing propoganda factories.  The ultimate goal of many of them is to one day see the total elimination/abolition of all federal government social programs that help people especially Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Sincerely,
