Nature Discovery Center Offers Free Program on Emerald Ash Borer

Saturday March 10, 2018

Press Release

The Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive insect that’s chewing its way through our state, killing ash trees. In just five years, it has spread to 42 towns in Southern New Hampshire and counting. Because of this insect, firewood and other wood products are quarantined in Belknap, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham and Strafford Counties.
On Saturday, March 10 the Nature Discovery Center will present a free program on the Emerald Ash Borer. The program begins at 1:30 PM in the downstairs meeting room of the Pillsbury Free Library in Warner. Come, learn about this pest, how to identify it and ways you can control it.
