Local Voters Get Chance to Ask Democratic Candidates Questions

By Susan Chase

An audience of enthusiastic area voters gathered outdoors on July 12 at The Barn of the Highland Lake Inn in East Andover to get to know five Democratic candidates for New Hampshire state or county offices who would represent Andover if elected. Voters had a chance to ask questions of each candidate and to learn about the issues most important to each.
The candidates are, from left: Mike Cryans, Executive Council member running for re-election in District 1; Mario Ratzki (raised hand), running for County Commissioner, District 2;  Ken Wells (at rear), running for a second term as State Representative, District 1;  Faith Minton, a candidate for State Representative, District 25, running for the seat being vacated by David Karrick; and Phil Spagnuolo, candidate for State Senator, District 7.
