The Andover Fire Department is looking for people who would like to join their friends and neighbors as firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) in Andover. We will train you to be a firefighter, EMT, or both. 

We need reasonably healthy men and women who would like to be part of an outstanding team that provides emergency services to our community.  Fighting fire is only part of what we are called to do. Many of our calls involve helping our neighbors in non-emergency situations that would become an emergency without our help. 

The work can be hard and dirty, but the pride of accomplishment and the sense of belonging to a well-trained team are indescribable.

We will be holding an open house at the Andover Fire Station on Main Street next to the Town Hall on Saturday, October 16, from 8 AM until noon. Please come and see us, look at the equipment, and ask questions. 

We will also have a firefighter’s table set up at The Exchange on 216 Cilleyville Road on Saturday, October 16, from 8 AM until 2 PM.
