The Bachelder Library will be open for its regular hours and the Andover Public Library’s regular hours.

The Bachelder Library is located at 12 Chase Hill Road. To get there from Andover, head East on Route 11 towards Franklin. As you go past the East Andover Post Office, you will see the Andover Community Church in front of you on the right, turn right before the church onto Chase Hill Road, the Bachelder Library is the second building on your right.
If there are books currently at the Andover Library, that are not part of the collection at the Bachelder Library, that you would like to check out, please let us know and we will arrange for them to be at the Bachelder Library for you to pick up there.

The books scrolling across the top of the screen are titles recently purchased and the list of books on the right of the screen are the most frequently checked out titles. You can search for a book by entering its title into the “find” box at the upper left. If we have the book in the Andover collection, there are two ways you can reserve it.

•Leave us a message at: 603 735-5076, or
•You can also log into your online account. From the homepage at andover.biblionix.com or bachelder.biblionix.com, you can use the boxes on the upper right hand side of your screen to log in. Your username is your card number, and your password is your phone number. After you have entered that information you may reserve a book by entering the title into the “find” box. If the title shows up in green, that means it is on the shelf and we will pull the title for you. If the title shows up in pink, that means that someone else has checked it out, and we will hold it for you as soon as it is returned.
If we don’t own a title that you would like to borrow, we can try to get it for you through Inter-Library Loan

•From your on-line account, click on the ”my account” button. Once you are in your account, click on “Reserves/Requests”. You will then see in bold, “Is the library missing something? Let us know.” By clicking on the “let us know” you will then see a message box, where you can enter the title you’d like us to find on Inter-Library Loan for you. That will send us a message to arrange for that title for you on Inter-Library Loan.
All patrons of the Andover Library can also log onto the Bachelder Library catalog at: bachelder.biblionix.com and reserve and request books using the same username and password as you do at the Andover Library.
