The City of Franklin and Franklin Falls Business Group are excited to announce the Third
Annual Franklin Falls Holiday Stroll on Friday, December 1, 3:30–8 PM in Downtown Franklin. Many community organizations are joining together to bring this event to Franklin Falls. Please join us for this very festive event featuring the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting, Parade, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, the opening of Festival of Trees, Christmas Caroling and much, much more. Event timeline follows:

3:30–6 PM Santa’s Workshop: Bessie Rowell Community Center

Share Christmas wishes and have your picture taken with Santa for a donation to Mix 94.1 Cash & Cans; face painting, crafts, cookie decorating and holiday music. (Children must be accompanied by an adult). Watch as Santa Claus is escorted to Marceau Park in a fire truck.

4:30–6 PM Christmas Carols: Episcopal Mission Church of Franklin
Join in or just enjoy traditional Christmas Carols. At 6 PM the group will stroll to Marceau Park and sing carols while waiting for Santa to arrive.

4:00–7 PM Horse drawn Wagon Rides: Trestle View Park
Heisler Hay & Horse will offer horse drawn wagon rides, come and meet Bud and Sonny Boy,
Suffolk Punch Draft Horses who will take you for a wagon ride through downtown Franklin.

6:30 PM Christmas Tree Lighting:  Marceau Park

Greet Santa Claus as he arrives in a Franklin Fire Truck; sing carols, enjoy the
wonder of the tree lighting. Refreshments by Partners in Prevention and ONE Church.

5:00–8 PM Festival of Trees Hosted by Franklin Opera House
Location: Unitarian Universalist Church
206 Central Street, Franklin
Wander through the Festival of Trees and enjoy the variety of trees decorated by business and community members. Refreshments will be offered by Zeke’s Sweets. 

Asian Delight, Downtown Crepes, Franklin’s Hidden Treasures, Franklin Savings Bank, Kettlehead Brewing, Outdoor New England, The Franklin Café, Thrift Clothes Closet, Vulgar Brewing Company, and Waterhorse Irish Pub will be open and offering special holiday treats.

Lights of Memory, December 3 at 4 PM, at Peabody Place, 24 Peabody Place, Franklin.
