AE/MS Student Writes: Elementary Spotlight on Fifth Grade

Mrs. Kazemi brings lots of experiences to AE/MS

Laili Kazemi is the proud fifth grade teacher of our wonderful school, AE/MS. Mrs. Kazemi has had a lot of experience with teaching. Before teaching at AE/MS, she taught at St. Benedict Academy, Kearsarge Regional Middle School, Compass Classical Academy, and Maple Street School. In all, she has been teaching for 12 years and counting!

The fifth graders this year should expect to follow the regular fifth grade curriculum, but since Mrs. Kazemi is from many different school experiences, she will also show them a different point of view with social emotional learning, and will always help the kids solve problems.

There is a big step up from being a fourth grade student to a fifth grade student. Being a fifth grader can give students more responsibility in their work and in their human development. Fifth graders have the bonus of being a role model for younger grades by being a part of this year’s mentor program, and they get to do more work independently and do more independent activities.

Mrs. Kazemi believes that the fifth graders can grow, learn, and become the best grade in all of AE/MS if they try hard enough. The fifth graders love to sing, dance, and be social with each other. Mrs. Kazemi is proud of her hard working class of strong supportive students.
