Monthly Andover Senior Lunch Program Begins

Wednesday, March 27, at noon

Press release

The first monthly Senior Lunch will be held on Wednesday, March 27, at noon, at The Andover Community Hub. This lunch program is an outreach offering of the Elder Services Department, Community Action Program (CAP) of Belknap-Merrimack Counties, and intended for those age 60 and older from Andover and surrounding towns. A nutritious, balanced, hot meal is prepared by CAP, brought to The Hub and served.

The meal is offered for a suggested donation of $3 for CAP and $2 for The Hub, as the local sponsor, for those who are able to donate. Those who would like to attend are asked to make a reservation by calling The Hub at 603 735-5509, by Wednesday, March 20. To reserve a place, leave a message with your name, town, and phone number in case we need to reach you.

If the lunch needs to be canceled for any reason, such as, severe weather, guests with reservations will be notified by phone with as much advance notice as possible. Guests are urged to use their own best judgment about venturing out in bad weather at any time, even if the lunch is being held.

If any Andover resident would like to attend but needs a ride to the lunch, please leave that information with your address and phone number, and someone will return your call. The Senior Lunch Committee will make every effort to provide a ride to and from the lunch.

The Hub is located at 157 Main Street, Andover, next to Pizza Chef, and is accessible to all. For general information about The Hub, contact theandoverhub@nullgmail.com.
