New London Hospital Conducting Community Health Assessment

Help by completing the survey

By Jenn Alford-Teaster, MA, MPH, Program Manager, Community Health

Every three years, New London Hospital Association (NLHA) conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to better understand the needs our community is most concerned about and the conditions impacting the health and well-being of our region’s residents. The CHNA helps inform hospital services and community health initiatives and is also used by community organizations when planning services.

What’s different this cycle is we are increasing our outreach to individual towns within NLHA’s 15-town service region to ensure equitable representation across our rural areas. Your input is incredibly powerful in this process. Your insight will help guide the design of initiatives of New London Hospital and Newport Health Center for the next several years.

If you live in Andover, Bradford, Croydon, Danbury, Goshen, Grantham, Lempster, New London, Newbury, Newport, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Washington, or Wilmot, we strongly encourage you to fill out the survey to take part in shaping our local health initiatives.
