The Andover Libraries are happy to be bringing back two traditions in 2024. First, we have started adding Baby Celebration Books again! Each baby whose birth was registered in Andover in 2023 now has a book dedicated to him/her in the Andover Public Library. If you had a baby in 2023, stop by the library during any of our open hours and we will help you find your baby’s book.

Second, many years ago, children were invited to ring the Story Time Bell at the Andover Public Library on their birthday. We have decided to bring back this tradition, so be sure to swing by the library around your child’s birthday so they can participate. Kids will be able to ring the bell the same number of times as their age. This may seem simple to many adults, but the story time bell is always so intriguing to children. They will love to participate in this tradition!
